SM to hold final leg of world tour in Japan

Korean idols of top Korean agency SM Entertainment will perform for two days in Japan for the final stop of their "SMTOWN LIVE'10 WORLD TOUR" in January next year.

SM Entertainment announced in a press release Wednesday that after holding a series of successful shows in Seoul, Los Angeles and Shanghai, the artists of SM will take the stage of the Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo on January 25 and 26 on the last leg of their world tour.

SM artists, composed of Kangta, BoA, U-Know, Changmin, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), will sing their own songs as well as holding individual and crossover performances with each other.

They have attracted thousands of fans to their world tour since its kickoff in Seoul in late August and the show in Los Angeles placed at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard Boxcore chart for the number of concertgoers and ticket sales.

Founded by former singer Lee Soo-man in 1995, SM Entertainment is one of the most influential entertainment agencies in the country alongside YG and JYP Entertainment.

They are well-known for managing the successful singing careers of H.O.T and S.E.S and some of the biggest names in the K-pop market including Girls' Generation, Kangta, SHINee and TRAX.
