[Spoiler] 'Splendid Politics' Cha Seung-won becomes king

The April 14th episode of MBC's "Splendid Politics" showed the palace getting into the fight to grab the power after King Seonjo (Park Young-gyu) died. Queen Inmok (Shin Eun-jung) became worried about the safety of her children as her supporter, Seonjo passed away.

Prince Imhae (Choi Jong-hwan) sent an assassin to kill Queen Inmok's son Grand Prince Yeongchang (Jeon Jin-seo). As Gwang Hae (Cha Seung-won) found out about it, he became furious with Prince Imhae. Later, Gwang Hae went to see Queen Inmok and said, "I do not want the sanguinary fight to go any further. I know what you really want. Isn't it the safety of your children? Please help me sit on the throne without the unnecessary bloody war".

Next day, Queen Inmok acknowledged Gwang Hae as the successor of the throne and handed over the Royal Seal to him,

"Splendid Politics" is the story of Princess Jeongmyeong's life, who was born as a royal princess, but had to live hiding herself as a dead person to survive during the bloody fight for power.
