Passengers boarding of Korean Air, Delta Air Lines and Air France-KLM will now fly from Terminal 2.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on Wednesday urged travelers to double-check which terminal they are flying from.
A mistake could lead to passengers missing their flight since Terminal 2 is about 15 km from Terminal 1 on the other side of the airport.
Terminal 2 began operations officially at 4:20 a.m. Thursday when a Korean Air flight arrived from Manila.
The first plane to leave was another Korean Air flight that took off for Manila at 7:55 a.m.
