The 3rd Asiana International Short Film Festival to be held

Airline companies have become increasingly active in sponsoring movie productions and cultural events as a marketing strategy and means to improve their corporate image. In particular, Asiana Airlines has actively provided financial support for domestic films.

The airline has hosted the Asiana International Short Film Festival every year since 2003. The festival has been the first international competitive short film festival in Korea and the first In-Flight film festival ever all around the world by presenting "In-Flight" as a new territory for short films distribution. As the ground and sky short film festival, it allows the audience to encounter the vivid energy and the global trend of worldwide short films.

After the festival on the ground, AISFF continues as it spreads out its wings of film via "AISFF_in the Air", which is 'the world's first In-Flight short film festival', showing the awarded films at the international flights of Asiana Airlines. It is aimed to offer alternative distribution channel of short films.

Furthermore, AISFF tours all around the world under the name of "AISFF_Traveling Cinema" to meet and communicate with more international audience.

Especially for this year, the 3rd Asiana International Short Film Festival provides "AISFF Fund Project", a new guarantee production project to support and encourage Korean short filmmakers.

As a 'Never-Ending film festival', AISFF continues its festival all the year around on the ground, up in the sky and at other cities and festivals around the world.
