The street of Harajuku Dakesita in Tokyo, Japan is a favorite hangout of Japanese youths who consider themselves "different". Korean stars are influencing 'hot' places like these in Tokyo.

From simple casual looks to traditional Japanese costumes, costume play outfits to the punk look, on the street various fashion shops are displaying popular idol items.

These items are all over, from the entrance of the shop to the walls inside.

In the past, they only dealt with Japanese stars' items but ever since Hallyu started Korean stars take up more and more space.

An employee in one of these shops say, "There have been more people looking for Korean stars' items, as much as Japanese. Pictures and fans sell the most".

He continued, "JYJ is the most we deal with and recently it's been Girls' Generation items. Kara and Jang Keun-suk had their peaks but recently they've slowed down".
