Tickets to Kim Rae-won's fan meeting sold out in three minutes in Japan

All 1,100 tickets to actor Kim Rae-won's fan meeting slated for Dec. 4 were sold out in just three minutes.

According to Sankei Sports on Nov. 15, tickets to the first floor, each costing 10,000 yen (about 88,000 won), were sold out immediately on Nov. 14 via the Internet.

The fan meeting will also serve to promote the movie "...ing" ("Blue Rainy Sky" in Japanese), directed by Lee Eon-hee, which opens in Japan in early December, and Kim's latest photo album "Pure".

Tickets to 800 seats on the second floor, each costing 8,000 yen, will go on sale Nov. 15 via the Internet. The organizers of the event are already flooded with inquiries.

Kim's fan base in Japan has grown rapidly since the series "Cat on the Roof" and "Love Story in Harvard" aired in that country on Nihon TV through KNTV. Earlier this year in June, the actor visited Japan to promote the series "My Little Bride" and held a fan meeting that was attended by more than 1,000 fans.
