Typhoon Landfall in the U.S.

The Korean blockbuster "Typhoon" (Tae-poong in Korean) will be screened nationwide in major metropolises such as LA, San Francisco, Washington D.C., New York, Chicagofrom June 2nd.

Typhoon,directed by _Kwak_Gyeong-taek in 2005 was a great hit when released in Korea, "Typhoon because of its star cast, including Jang Dong-gun and Lee Jung-jae, superstars in Korea.

In the movie, Jang Dong-gun is a pirate, Sin, who is planning to revenge on the Korean Peninsula after being deserted by North and South Korea. Lee is a naval officer of South Korea, Sae-jong Kang, who is trying to protect South Korea from Sin.

In the U.S., Paramount Classics will distribute "Typhoon", and its rating is R (restricted), which requires parent or adult guardian for children or teenagers Who Are You?nger than 17 years old.

In Japan, Typhoon was released on the last April 8th, and it was recorded as the fifth highest film that people saw during the first week of its release.
