Yoo Jae-suk Named Comedian of the Year for 6th Straight Year

Comedian Yoo Jae-suk has been named comedian of the year for the sixth consecutive year in an annual poll by Gallup Korea.

Gallup asked 1,700 people aged 13 and older from Nov. 8-28 to name two comedians they believe had the best year in 2017.

Yoo topped the list with 38.3 percent. He currently appears in programs aired by all three major broadcasters, most notably "Infinite Challenge" on MBC, "Running Man" on SBS, and "Happy Together" on KBS.

Kang Ho-dong was runner-up with 23.3 percent followed by Park Na-rae -- the only woman to make the top 10 -- with 15.9 percent. Shin Dong-yup and Lee Kyung-kyu were fourth and fifth.
