"Chief Detective 1958" is a drama about a detective Park Yeong-han (Lee Je-hoon), who specializes in arresting small thieves in the era of barbarism, breaking the irrationality of corruption power with common sense and becoming a detective for the people.

In the drama, Yoon Woo plays constable Kim, a character who tries to keep the principles but becomes weak when he talks about his mother.

Yoon Woo said, "It was a short moment, but it was such an ecstatic experience to look into Lee Je-hoon's eyes and feel his emotions. I constantly thought about exploring deeper emotions than acting, and in the process, I tried to give validity to the small choices made by the character".

He added, "It was a happy time to show a more vivid and sincere performance as a sense of justice sprouted along with an understanding of Kim at every moment of such concern".

Yoon Woo has been gaining recognition by vividly portraying various characters by appearing in OCN's "Train", the Netflix series "Daily Dose of Sunshine" web dramas "School Strange Stories - 8 Years", "Blooming", and movies "The Recon" and "Remember - 2020".

Actor Yoon Woo, who has a delicate emotional performance and character analysis that is not like a rookie, is drawing attention and expectations for the fresh charm he will show in the exciting story of "Chief Detective 1958".

Meanwhile, MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Chief Detective 1958" is scheduled to premiere at 9:50 PM on April 19th.
