In recent MBC dramas, some stars often show their faces enough to be called sons and daughters, drawing attention.

The son of MBC is Cha Eun-woo, an ASTRO member and actor. He meets with viewers through two MBC dramas this year. First, he plays Jin Seo-won in the MBC drama "A Good Day to be a Dog" that ended in January. In the drama, he plays Jin Seo-won, playing a sweet romance with Park Gyu-young (Han Hae-na).

Cha Eun-woo will return to MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "Wonderful World", which will air on March 1st. In this drama, Cha Eun-woo will play the role of Kwon Seon-yul, a mysterious young man who chooses to live a rough life after losing everything one day. He will show 'chemistry' with Kim Nam-joo (Eun Soo-hyeon), who shares similar wounds with him.

Before this, he starred as Lee Rim in MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung" where he teamed up with Shin Se-kyung. With this work, he received the Best Actor Award and the Best One-Minute Couple Award at MBC's Acting Ambassador in the same year.

Actor Lee Jong-won-I is also a rising son of MBC. He recently played the role of Park Soo-ho, a golden guard officer, in MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "Knight Flower" in which he played a romantic role with Lee Hanee.

"Knight Flower" ended with a peak viewer rating of 18.4%, and was loved enough to make a new history in MBC Friday-Saturday drama ratings.

Lee Jong-won-I's previous work, "The Golden Spoon", was also an MBC Friday-Saturday drama. He won the Rookie of the Year award at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards for this work.

He also appeared in a number of MBC dramas including "XX" (2020) and "The Spies Who Loved Me" (2020). He also made headlines by revealing his home and daily life at MBC's entertainment show "I Live Alone" in January 2023.

Lee Jong-won-I said in an interview at the end of the "Knight Flower" that he was so happy about the title 'the son of MBC' and that it's thanks to MBC he is where he is today.

Actress Yeonwoo, who also starred in "The Golden Spoon" with Lee Jong-won-I, deserves to be called the daughter of MBC. She will appear in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama "Bitter Sweet Hell" this year, joining an MBC drama for the third consecutive year.

"Bitter Sweet Hell" is a human black comedy about Young-won (Kim Hee-sun), Korea's best family psychologist, who is threatened of her career and family by an unknown threatening criminal, and tries to protect her family in cooperation with her mother-in-law Sa-kang (Lee Hye-young). Yeonwoo will play Lee Se-na, a mysterious character in the play.

Earlier in 2023, Yeonwoo played Jin Yeon-ah, the senior assistant of the accounting firm Deal Part and Kim Myung-soo's (Jang Ho-woo) supervisor, in MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "Numbers", showing her cute and lovely charm. In 2022, she starred as Oh Yeo-jin, who pays the harsh price of using a gold spoon in "The Golden Spoon" and won the MBC Drama Rookie of the Year award that year.

During the press conference of "Numbers" she said, "It feels good to jokingly call me MBC's daughter. I would love to be a part of it again".
